Speaker Agreement & Terms
By participating as an SBVE speaker, I understand and agree to the following:
Speaker & Book Fee: I understand that the SBVE Speaker & Book Fee — $197 for Visibility Basic or $397 for Visibility Premium — is non-refundable.
Event Promotion: I agree to actively promote the Small Business Virtual Extravaganza using my unique affiliate/tracking link and will strive to generate at least 30 event registrations.
Presentation Recording: I understand that my presentation will be recorded and may be made available as part of the SBVE event, replays, promotions, and related materials. My presentation may also be linked via QR code within the SBVE collaborative book, The SBVE Business Edge.
Collaborative Book: I understand that participation includes being featured as a published co-author in The SBVE Business Edge. Our goal is to achieve Amazon Bestseller status during the book launch; however, bestseller status cannot be guaranteed.
Required Materials: I agree to provide all required materials, including my headshot, bio, chapter submission, and evergreen freebie link, by the deadlines provided by SBVE.
Speaker Responsibility: I understand that it is my responsibility to meet all submission deadlines and participate in my scheduled presentation. Failure to submit required materials, meet deadlines, promote the event, or participate as scheduled does not entitle me to a refund of my Speaker & Book Fee.
Media Release: I give MBX Events and its partners permission to record, photograph, film, audiotape, or videotape me and my participation in SBVE (“Works”) and to use, display, publish, reproduce, and distribute those Works for event, educational, publishing, website, social media, and promotional purposes. I waive the right to approve such use and any right to royalties or other compensation related to the Works. I understand that once Works are published online or distributed, they may be reproduced or shared by third parties outside the control of MBX Events, and I agree not to hold MBX Events responsible for unauthorized third-party reproduction.
